And what does contagious disease means?
What is the difference between them ?

Contagious disease is that one which can be easily transmitted by any way like air water inhalation and also by contact
e.g : influenza epidemic

Infectious disease disease can be transmitted from one to another but it needs a vector any vector as syringe , blood , and many other way but not transmitted by inhalation
